StreetSense is a law enforcement training and reference application developed and published by MNS Industries, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the StreetSense app, this website, or any content published by MNS Industries, LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

Not Legal Advice

StreetSense is a reference and training tool. Nothing in the app, on this website, or in our blog constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created through the use of any of our products or content. The information provided is intended to supplement — not replace — your department’s training, standard operating procedures, official policy, legal counsel, and prosecutorial guidance.

Officers should always consult their department’s standard operating procedures, their county prosecutor’s office, and applicable Attorney General directives or POST standards before making enforcement decisions. Do not rely solely on StreetSense or any content published by MNS Industries, LLC when making enforcement, charging, or use-of-force decisions.

Accuracy and Currency of Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that statute text, case law summaries, penalty information, AG directives, and officer notes are accurate and current at the time of publication. However, laws change. Statutes are amended, cases are overturned, directives are revised, and penalties are updated by legislatures and courts at any time. We do not guarantee that all information in the app or on this website reflects the most current version of any statute, case, directive, or regulation.

If you identify an error, outdated citation, or inaccuracy in any StreetSense content, please contact us immediately at nick@mnsindustriesllc.com so we can investigate and correct it. Accuracy is a core commitment and we take every report seriously.

Not Affiliated with Any Law Enforcement Agency

StreetSense is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or representative of any law enforcement agency, department, government entity, police union, academy, or training commission. References to specific agencies, departments, or organizations are for informational context only and do not imply any official relationship.

Intended Use

StreetSense is designed as a study, training, and reference tool for law enforcement professionals. It is intended for use during training, pre-shift preparation, post-incident review, promotional exam study, and routine reference during non-critical patrol activities such as traffic stops.

StreetSense is not designed or intended to be used as a real-time decision-making tool during active critical incidents, high-risk encounters, or situations requiring immediate tactical judgment. Officers must rely on their training, department policy, and professional judgment in those situations.

Subscription and Payment

StreetSense is a subscription-based application. Content is accessible through paid subscriptions (Patrol Essentials and Full Patrol Kit) or a one-time Lifetime purchase, each of which includes a 7-day free trial. Payment is processed through Apple’s App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). MNS Industries, LLC does not directly process, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed through your device’s app store account. For subscription management, visit your device’s Settings and navigate to Subscriptions.

Privacy and Data

StreetSense collects zero personal data. The app operates 100% offline after initial download. No accounts are required, no usage data is tracked, no analytics are collected, and no information is transmitted from your device. The only network communication is Apple’s or Google’s own subscription verification process, which is handled entirely by the platform — not by StreetSense. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content in the StreetSense app, on this website, and in our blog — including officer notes, case law summaries, decision tree logic, quick reference card content, and original written commentary — is the intellectual property of MNS Industries, LLC. Statute text and case holdings are public domain; our annotations, summaries, and editorial content are not.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from StreetSense content without written permission from MNS Industries, LLC. Screenshots shared for personal or departmental training purposes are permitted.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MNS Industries, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the StreetSense app, this website, or any content published by MNS Industries, LLC — including but not limited to damages arising from enforcement decisions, charging decisions, or any actions taken or not taken based on information in our products.

Your use of StreetSense and all related content is at your own risk.
